• Services and Sacraments •
The word ‘sacrament’ means ‘to make sacred.’ Sacraments are the means by which our physical and spiritual beings are touched by the divine. They are the form through which the grace of God manifests. When we participate in sacraments which are consciously and lovingly presented, we are drawn into the nature and spirit of God. Unlike most sacraments which we can receive only once, the sacrament of communion can be experienced every day. In the sacrament of communion we have the opportunity to receive the nature of the Christ consciousness into our physical and spiritual bodies.
At the Centers of Light, Communion is available to the community every day. Everyone is welcome to receive communion regardless of their religious affiliation or beliefs. On Sundays the communion service includes singing, prayer, and an inspiring and easily applicable sermon.
• Meditation and Communion •
We offer meditation and Communion every morning in our Center's chapel. As on Sundays, these Services begin with a half-hour of silent meditation, designed to allow each person to quite his or her mind, take in the energy of the chapel, and prepare to receive the blessings of Communion.
• Evening Prayers •
We offer evening prayers in our Center's chapel Sunday through Thursday. Our evening prayers are full of joy and devotion as we sing and pray in gratitude and love for our Creator, Jesus and Mary.
• Sunday Service •
Sunday Services are uplifting, inspiring and deepening in consciousness. The Service includes singing, prayer, and a sermon that is relevant to the process of spiritual development. It also includes a powerful and transformative Communion Service. Each Service begins with a half-hour of silent meditation that allows each person to quiet his or her mind and prepare to take in the blessings of the Service and Communion. Our chapel is full of peace, love and the palpable Presence of God.
