• The Order of Mercy •

The Order of Mercy is a group of women and men that devote their lives to serving the elderly and organizing clean-ups in city neighborhoods. These men and woman take either a one year or a lifetime vow of service to this Order and share their time through giving and loving. The Order of Mercy is comprised of people who have been students in the Order of Christ/Sophia and who want to deepen through service to God. These brothers and sisters are committed to bring love to the elderly that are alone and without family. The Order of Mercy brings the elderly and dying a relationship where they can receive love through the compassion and companionship of these sisters and brothers.

Having first been students, the Order of Mercy sisters and brothers have developed a relationship with Jesus and Mary and have received much healing and transformation. Their hearts are now ready to give back all the love they have received. The sisters and brothers of the Order of Mercy are also an important part of our Centers of Light around the country. They work in their centers under the direction of the local ministers in community development projects, community outreach, and Lightworks (our non-profit fund raising effort). The sisters and brothers who serve in the Order of Mercy deepen in faith and works through holding in their hearts and sharing the knowing that in loving we are loved.
