The Chicago Center of Light is a spiritual school and non-denominational, mystical Christian church located at 3617 W Belle Plaine Ave Chicago, Illinois in the Old Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago, near the intersections of Irving Park and Elston. We offer daily meditation and communion services, as well as an Introduction to Christian Mysticism and Meditation class on Sunday afternoons that is open to everyone. Coming to a Sunday Service, staying for for brunch and attending our Intro to Mysticism and Meditation class afterwards is a great way to get familiar with what we do. For those who complete our introductory course, there are free weekly spiritual classes including Bible Contemplation - an interactive meditation where deeper truths and personal messages from the gospel come alive, and a Tree of Life class, in which the timeless teachings of the mystery schools are given. If you have been looking for a spiritual teacher in Chicago, meditation class, or a spiritual community that can help to support your desire to grow in consciousness, we encourage you to check us out.
The priests at the Center of Light Church in Chicago are Rev Gabrielle and Rev Paul. Father Peter Bowes, co-founder of the Centers of Light and one of the Master Spiritual Teachers in our order also makes his home in Chicago when he is not traveling around the country, teaching and giving spiritual seminars. If you have any questions about services, classes or other offerings at the Chicago Center of Light, feel free to contact us, or just drop by for one of our services or classes.
